In his over 30 years of practicing experience the following fields of work where covered: Energy auditing; Energy management; HVAC design; HVAC construction works inspection and management; HVAC testing, adjusting and balancing; Building energy detailed dynamic simulation; Indoor Air Quality auditing.
Carlos Lisboa has a strong involvement in community work, of which the following stand out:
- Current counsellor for the European region, together with professor Jaap Hogeling, of AASA, ASHRAE Associate Societies Alliance;
- Former president of the Portuguese Society of HVAC&R engineers (EFRIARC);
- Former President of EFRIARC’s Technical Committee;
- Former Vice-President of the ASHRAE Portugal Chapter;
- Participant on technical standardization committees, national (IPQ) and european (CEN);
- Co-Author of ASHRAE/REHVA Beam Systems Design Guide.
Carlos Lisboa is a mechanical engineer, applied thermodynamics branch, graduated at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), in Lisbon.
